Engin Altan Düzyatan is a Turkish actor. He was born in Durusu, İzmir Province, Turkey. After studying theatre at the Dokuz Eylül University in İzmir, he started his acting career with Ruhsar (2001). Since then, he had gone on to act in various Turkish films and series. He is popularly known for his lead role as an “Ertugrul” in the Historical Drama Series Diriliş Ertuğrul.

He made his screen debut in the comedy series Ruhsar and appeared in Laughter in Istanbul, Koçum Benim, and Darkness. In 2005, he acted in the films are Beyza’nın Kadınları/Sunglasses for My Love directed by Mustafa Altıoklar, and Kalbin Zamanı/Anatomy of the Heart directed by Nurullah Çelik. In 2009, Engin Akyürek played Doctor Serdar Batur in the drama series Bir Bulut Olsam . Two years later, he worked with Meral Okay and Melisa Sözen on the same project.
In 2014, Engin Altan appeared in the series Cinayet with Nurgül Yeşilçay, Uğur Polat.
After the Cinayet Series, In 2014, TRT signed Düzyatan for his one of the famous Tv series Diriliş: Ertuğrul.
