Karan Johar was born and brought up in Mumbai. He completed his studies from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics. During his childhood he was a big fan of Bollywood songs and loved dancing on them. At the age of 4 he wanted to become a hair stylist, a doctor at the age of 10 and finally at the age of 20 he decided to become a film maker. Karan Johar started his acting career with film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge as Rocky.
