R. Madhavan is an Indian film producer, actor, film director and writer who majorly works in Hindi and Tamil films. R. Madhavan has won four Filmfare awards and three state Film awards. R. Madhavan comes from a Tamil family however was raised in Bihar as his parents used to work there. During his childhood he wanted to make his career in Defence Services. He therefore enrolled himself in NCC and took part in military training. While he was completing his training he was known as one of the best cadets in Maharashtra which made him win an England trip. For his further training R. Madhavan got rejected because he had crossed the age limit.
R. Madhavan started working in Mumbai where he met Sarita Birje at a workshop who was an air hostess and married her in 1999. They have a son named Vedaant who is a national level swimmer and has won many medals.
